The screen becomes a window into a room behind it. Your head position, from metric mode, moves the viewpoint, so the room shifts as you move your head and keeps its depth. Works best with one eye closed. Calibrate the screen size with a bank card from the panel, and check it with Calibration check.

Hold a bank card flat against the screen, over the outline, and resize the outline until it matches the card exactly, with the slider or the red corner. Any credit or debit card works: they're all the same size.
